Dr. Moreno completed a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident of the Cosmetic Clinic. He then completed advanced aesthetic surgery fellowship training at an ASAPS-accredited program in New York City, gaining experience with a high volume of complex facial aesthetic cases.

He further pursued focused mentorship with leading facial aesthetic surgeons in the United States and Europe, refining his understanding of facial anatomy, proportion, surgical technique, and the judgment required to create natural-looking results.

Dr. Moreno has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
